It's finally here! We sit down with Jonathan Pototschnik, CEO of Service Autopilot and co-founder of several successful service industry companies to talk about his two most effective marketing strategies.
Jonathan gives us the advice that he wishes he'd been given 15-20 years ago. It's like a time machine that makes you a future version of yourself. Get the benefit of all that experience in less than an hour.
1. Give your business that small company feel. Make it personal. Don't compromise excellent customer service and knowing the customer's name as you grow. Jonathan recommended writing marketing copy with one person in mind.
2. Don't be afraid of long-form copy. Take the time to say what needs to be said. Length is often proportional to the level of ask you're making. Jonathan talked about micro-decisions and the way to roll them up into bigger decisions.
Listen to the episode to get the big picture of the most effective marketing strategies Jonathan was talking about and what he wishes he could tell himself, 15-20 years ago. For more information from Jonathan, you can check out the Lawncare Millionaire YouTube channel.
What's Next? That's what we'll be talking about this year at our annual conference. Jonathan touched on this because he believes that it will greatly help you to attend this year's conference. SA4 will encourage you. You'll find people who can hold you accountable (get out the field!) We'll teach you easy to implement business strategies that WILL give you a return on your investment.
SA4 will change your business and you, if you'll come. You'll hear from Greg Crabtree of Simple Numbers, Jason Cupp (who's a 24-year veteran of the landscaping industry), and former guest on The Profit Roadmap, Mike Callahan.
Jonathan mentioned that another great way to meet people at the conference if you're already attending is going to the After Party. It's an excellent opportunity to meet other business owners in a low-stress environment.
We hope to see YOU in November.
